April (Free!) Book Giveaway!

It's time for the April Book Giveaway contest!

First I need to tell you what's going on. There was only one entry for March's Book Giveaway. Just one! With only one entry, I decided not to have the contest for March.

So here's what's happening this month. April's book giveaway will happen as long as there are at least 5 (five) new entries for this month's contest. By "new entries", I mean entries of people who have not won before. (If you have won before, you can still enter and potentially win, there just needs to be - at least! - five new entries for the contest to take place!)

Like in previous months, you get to choose which book you'd like to receive! The only requirement is that the book you choose has to have been mentioned at some point on this blog.

To enter the giveaway:
1. Look through the blog and find a book that you'd like to receive.
(Hint: the blog started in January 2010. At the end of each year, or beginning of a year, I list all the books I read that year. Scanning one of the annual lists to find a book you'd like might be easier than reading through each blog post, as illuminating and fascinating as that might be!)

2. Add a comment here on the blog that includes your name and the title of the book you've chosen. Entries will not be received through the blog's facebook page.

3. Enter by the end of the day, Thursday April 18, 2013.
        That's it!

I will number the comments and randomly pick a number with a random number generator. I will send messages to the winner and that winner will have five days to respond. If that person doesn't respond, I’ll pick another number. Once I have a confirmed winner, I will get their shipping addresses via email or private message and send them the book they've chosen!*

February 2013 Book Giveaway!

Going with the theme of "two" for this month (second month of the year, blog posts featuring two books each this month, etc.), this month's book giveaway will have two winners!

Book Giveaway

Happy New Year!

As I look ahead into 2013, I have some goals for the blog. I want to read and comment on more book blogs and sites. I want to read more excellent books, maybe help some new authors gain a wider platform in the book world, and I want more people to read this blog!

To generate more interest in the blog, I'm going to try a monthly free book giveaway in 2013. How great is that?

What book will be given away this month?
